May Days and Hours
Please note our 2026 May hours. Spring is one of our busiest seasons trying to get everything planted and growing, so we have reduced hours and days. Watch for changes as we get into June!
Our May hours are:
9 am to 4 pm – Thursday, Friday, Saturday
9 am to 2 pm – Tuesday, Sunday
Closed – Monday, Wednesday
And, if you can’t make it during our regular hours, just call us! We are usually working around the farm somewhere and will try to connect with you! 269-244-5690
Just check our website, FB, Google, for days and hours as needed. |

| We loved seeing many of you over this past opening weekend! The gratitude so many of you expressed for us being open with fresh produce (especially asparagus!) and other favorites, brought a smile to our faces and reminded us why we do what we do.
To be honest, it’s been a tough winter (many days with negative temperatures) and an even more challenging spring, with frosts/freezes coming just when fruit was blooming and very vulnerable. The weather extremes have created anxiety and concern, not just for our farm, but all Michigan fruit and vegetable farmers. All of us farmers continue to put in heroic efforts to protect our crops, but we’re constantly reminded that Mother Nature is in control. We’re looking at our crops very carefully, to understand the full extent of the damage and will provide updates as we know more.
Mother’s Day is this Sunday
All mothers get a free donut and coffee on Saturday and Sunday! We’ve got some great ideas for a special gift to honor the mother-figure in your life, see our spring gift suggestions below.
Teacher Appreciation
The school year is coming to a close, and this is the time to recognize the individuals your child sees almost daily, whether in school, churches, sports, and other activities. Our teachers, classroom aides, school staff, bus drivers, and others work quietly behind the scenes, many year-round, to help educate and inspire their students. |

|
| The past month we have been busy trying to protect our farm against the never-ending storms and changes to the weather as we zip between spring and winter temperatures. Many of our plants are earning ‘frequent flyer miles’ from how many times we move them in and out of buildings! |
|
| Everything in the greenhouse is looking wonderful. The tomatoes are gaining size, and our mini tomatoes are starting to turn color. |
|
| We grew all of our vegetables from seed in the greenhouse. They have been placed outside on nice days to “harden up” and get ready for planting in the field. |
|
|
Thank you for your continued support and for buying local.
Everyone at Corey Lake Orchards wishes all our moms a Happy Mother’s Day and a blessed Spring to everyone!
