Our Seasonal Guide / Calendar to When it’s Time for Fruits and Veggies!
With 150 acres of fruits and vegetables in production and a diverse variety of crops, it can be challenging to remember what ripens when. Even for us as the crazy weather can cause crops to “sneak up” on us from time to time!
Below is a guide to approximately when crops will be in season. Please remember this is only our best guess. The range of ever-changing weather can cause produce to come in late or early – Mother Nature is in control. Some years we may not have a particular crop due to weather damage or a freeze.
For your planning purposes, this guide also includes produce we typically obtain (though not guaranteed) from other local farms as well as value-added products such as baked goods and alcohol that we make using our produce.
The best way to keep in the know is to subscribe to our newsletter (see website), call us at (269) 244-5690, or stop by the market and talk with one of our knowledgeable staff.
